Multiple volumes of files with archival material related to the collection of Marcus Elieser Bloch. Volume 1 contains a register of Bloch’s mammal collection compiled after his death (transcribed) and a diary entitled “Birds and Fish” from 1779. Volume 2 contains the catalogue of Bloch’s bird collection; Volume 3 contains photocopies of files from the archives of the Academy of Sciences (ABBAW) related to the purchase of the collection (partially transcribed). Volume 4 contains photocopies of GStA files, documentation from the planning of an exhibition on Bloch (1999).
