This inventory reflects the holdings of the Kunstkammer after Friedrich III/I had caused dispersed naturalia and art objects to be assembled in the Kunstkammer and the administrator Christoph Ungelter had died in 1693. His successor Lorenz Beger was commissioned to compile a new list of the objects. The inventory contains over 800 object entries, including many of those from Inventar 1685/1688, Inventar 1688a, and Eingangsbuch 1688/1692a, which were subdivided into numerous collection categories.
